Go to this website link https://preston.instructure.com/login/canvas.

1. Then click on Parent of Canvas User. It should have you create an account.

2. To access your student's pairing code, have your student sign in to Canvas on any device.  Then click on account at the top left. Then click on settings.  Then on the right side of the screen, it should say pair with the observer click to generate the code.

3. Type it in on your device. It should then pair you with your student.

4. Then once your account is created, go to account settings.

5. Click on observer and add another code if you need to be an observer to more than one student. .  (You will go through step 3 again.)
